Info So You Want to Read Reborn...

So you want to read Reborn.. but someone told you that the first seven volumes are "filler". And, really, who wants to start a series when it begins with filler?

Well, I've gone through all of the Daily Life Arc (i.e. the filler) and noted which chapters should be read because they introduce certain characters or explain some back story which will be essential to know later in the series. So now you can just go through and read the chapters listed, instead of the whole seven volumes, and go into the first major storyline knowing what you need to know about the series.

The italics indicate non-essential characters, objects, ideas or plot points. They are somewhat necessary to better understand certain events, actions and characters that come into play later, but they are not 100% essential to read.

You should probably read them anyway, though.

I just want to know before I download anything...are these tankobon/w.e. scans or the old crappy ones? Although even those were of pretty good quality...

What? You mean the ones I link to in the first post? Or the files on the DGD server?

The links in the first post take you to One Manga, so you can't exactly download them there. The ones on the DGD server are done from HQ tank scans except for volume 8 and the newer volumes (15-18+)

Volumes 8-18 are downloadable in Volume form, as they're uploaded in the DGD server. The first few essential chapters are short enough to be read Online or in chapter format.

if only i saw this thread when i first started reading the manga

it would've made me much more at ease then me having to go through the whole daily life arc and not knowing which chapters were needed to be read, so in the end having to go through each and everyone.
